Partnership Against Business Crime in Staffordshire
PABCIS was launched in 2007. It is led by Stoke on Trent Crime Initiative and its objectives are:
- To reduce and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour by reducing the opportunity to commit business crime throughout Staffordshire
- To strengthen partnership working within the business community, Police, Local Authority and other key agencies and organisations
- To establish BCRPs as an integral part of the Local Community Safety and Crime Reduction Strategy
- Create safer environments for communities
- Utilise best practice
- Create a support network in Staffordshire
- Provide a proactive framework within which the issues of business crime can be strategically addressed
- To have a consistent approach towards BCRPs from the Police
- To share intelligence across Staffordshire
